The Trail

The Trail starts on Ponta Negra beach. Throughout the course with variations in levels between viewpoints and forest it is possible to observe and hear a large amount of birds in addition to various trees, bromeliads and orchids.

Local Guide

As the goal is to increase the safety of visitors and reduce the environmental impact on the trail, INEA, State Institute of the Environment, established with Inea Resolution nº 192/2019, which was limited to 140 people per day, it is also mandatory to hire a tourist guide accredited by INEA to access the trail that leads to the waterfall.
